I like the hit here. Granted, sending a fourth checker back gives them the opportunity to make a second anchor, but without the timing for a backgame that second anchor won't be worth much.

Hitting on our three point is worth a look, but seems unnecessarily loose. I'd hit loose on the five point in a heartbeat if there was a blot there, but there's not enough upside to making the three. Slotting the five doesn't feel right.

Also worth a look is 13/10 to bring a twelfth checker into the zone and make it harder to hit. But i like the hit - we're at quasi-DMP where gammons mean little for either side and it's usually right to hit at DMP.
