Larsen-Silliman ranking of U.S. players

The latest "Larsen/Silliman" ranking of the top 500 U.S. players can be seen here: http://kenlarsennc.com/bgUSratingUSBGF.htm It's based on a weighted scale of USBGF Master points accumulated in main events within the last 5 years.

We've called it the “Larsen/Silliman U.S. Backgammon Ranking” to distinguish it from other rankings that people may create. “Silliman” refers to Barry Silliman who wrote software to read USBGF loaded draw sheets that have been collected since 2009.

Each ranking treats the current year as the most recent 12 month period (not calendar year). As we progress through 2016, new tournaments from 2016 will be added, and old ones from 2012 will be dropped.

We'd like to expand the ranking to include the entire world. If you're the organizer of a non-US "tour" that's similar to the U.S.'s ABT Tour, I'd like to hear from you. Send me an email (KLarsen1@nc.rr.com)
