I do not like hitting a second checker here. It might be fun, but where would play the 4? We would end up with three or four blots, offering a direct shot from the bar, at a time when we are badly out-boarded. Besides, 5-away, 1-away Crawford plays like DMP. We do not need to win a gammon.

I like making the 10pt, and then playing our outside blot down to the to 11pt. After this move, we will be ahead in the race.
