I don't think there will ever be a way of generating dice that everyone will agree is random. I think you could put 1 Million precision dice in a bin and have two dropped from an airplane from 40,000 ft and land in a cement mixer and rolled for 1 hour and then dropped on to a board and still not have someone say the dice were not random.

Last night at dinner the fellow backgammon player I was with told me that it is impossible to ever have a truly random system.

The only thing I am sure of is that if you get a bunch of backgammon players in a room, they will all be random.
