To reach a solution position in a non-large number of rolls, Blue's six blots end up on the 25pt (roof), 24pt, 23pt, 22pt, 21pt and 20pt, as shown above. [The remaining 24 checkers (Blue and White) are not all necessarily on the points shown -- I just placed them on starting-position points for orientation purposes.]

So, Problems 1 and 2 can be simplified to: (1) How can Blue end up with six blots as shown above, with both sides having played perfectly? (2) In the fewest moves?
