What's up with his opponent withholding taxes!? There's the root of the problem.

Also, Anthony Pellicano's name crops up all over. I have long said that there is a great book to be written about P.I.s operating out of Chicago in the 1970s. Besides Pellicano there was Ernie Rizzo, Don Berlin, and Wally "The Wiretapper" Pritchard. Rizzo allegedly machine-gunned the home of my dad's former partner, whose dad sent some friends to explain to Rizzo that he'd be trunk music if so much as a cricket disturbed the peace in that neighborhood ever again. And Don's career started when he was still in high school. He was sort of a cross between Doogie Howser: Private Eye, and Zelig. He honed his skills working for my dad.
