The opponent was me. I was verbalizing each score change.

To clarify my general concern, it's that if there is a TD-level disagreement about the score, then it seems to me that the headphone player would (or should) be at a disadvantage -- which is why Stick's comment about being sure of the score is good advice. I wasn't concerned about this particular match because he kept his scorecard visible, as I hope I did, and we had a flip board.

BTW, I enjoyed playing Stick!
