I don't know if it was intentional, but cheers to the PFs for masterfully duplicating a roll of 62.

Hit, escape the straggler, or make the three point? Three admirable objectives, but which is best?

Well, 23/15 leaves a double shot in the outfield so we'll probably just wind up on the bar. OTOH, when it works, it works quite well.

21/13* takes half their roll away and sends a third checker back while escaping one of ours. Return hits are 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 33, 34, 35 and 36 for a total of 23 if I counted right. But, except for the doubles (which are devastating) we have lots of counterplay. And then there are the nine dancing numbers.

9/3 5/3 seems to cede the initiative, but may well be best.

I'm inclined to hit here. Hitting on their side of the board seems like a default move when i'm not sure, so that's what I'll do. At GS, I wouldn't touch that play, but here is seems sound, if perhaps not actually best.

21/13*
