Great News for Baffle Box Fans and P-40 Board lovers

I will not make a blanket statement that any box will work well with any given board. Some boards, for example, have a very small and think bearoff tray and no reasonably-sized baffle box will sit well on that board...but it can be made to work if you prop something behind it, like a book.
Our new box will have grooves in the bottom so that it slots on to our new board perfectly and will not slide around or be easily moved. It is doubtful that those slots will line up with other boards, but baffle boxes still work fine without the slots...they just can get moved or knocked off easier.
What you might do is make your own slots by using a file and make the baffle box fit your board perfectly, or just live with the box the way it is.
Bottom line is, as has always been the case with all my backgammon products: if you buy it and don't like it for any reason, 100 percent refund.
By the way, if you like the old box I will still be selling those, and the latest models have a serrated bottom to make them more secure. The old ones are more difficult to assemble, but some people like doing that. And the old ones are more expensive.
Why are my new ones cheaper? For the same reason my boards are 1/4 or 1/5 the price of comparable boards--modern technology and mass production compared to hand-made production.
My partner has amazing hi-tech equipment and engineering to make our new products. Lucky day for me when I met Tom, and a lucky day for Backgammon when Tom decided he loved this game, as he has done much to support the USBGF, some tournaments, and the backgammon learning center and the game in general.
