13-5 is the better choice for most, if not all, human players, IMO

As ever, I have an opinion, and will share it.
The 'best' response for any player for this play choice is the play that the player feels most comfortable with the continuation on. It may be that 13/5 is your preference, since you know how to handle that future sequence better than the hitting sequence. In all cases when there is little equity at stake (subjective to the player), then you should make the play that you feel is best suited to your strengths.
So, if hitting here (which is correct) is creating a position where you simply dont know how to handle the rest of the game, then dont hit.
Personally, I would hit this (as I said I would), and I am comfortable with the continuation from here.
As to whether XG 1ply or ++ or whatever is playing a PR XX.YY, it doesnt matter. XG is equally as comfortable with both plays, and its own error variance will be in line with whatever its natural PR is.
So, Jim, you might be right, you might be wrong, however, whichever it is, so long as you know how to proceed, then that must be the right play for you.
