I'd clarify that to say "Knowingly allowing your opponent to time out like that is clearly against the rules when playing Legal Moves.

This was a Legal Moves tournament so each player is obligated to point out his opp's illegal moves if he notices them and whether or not they benefit him.

But what if the event wasn't Legal Moves, they surely there's no requirement to tell your opp to hit his clock prior to picking up the dice and rolling again while you're closed out. Am I correct with that statement?
