White is Player 2
score: 0
pip: 184Unlimited Game
Jacoby Beaverpip: 160
score: 0
Blue is Player 1XGID=ab----E-C---dEa--c-dAA----:0:0:-1:00:0:0:3:0:10 21$-43U
The above position can be reached after just two moves, but it is also tied for the position that takes the MOST number of moves to reach.
.....21$-43U-55H-32H-55H-32H-55H-32H-55H-32H... (ad nauseum).
(A less trivial example is that the opening position can be reached in zero moves or in an infinitely large number of moves.)
With the $5, have a beer on me.
If you want a puzzle I doubt anyone will try to solve, you might pose the question this way: What is the position that can be reached in the greatest number of moves whereby the (checker) position is never repeated?
