Hi, thank you for showing your interest.

I just checked the App store on iPad and what you should install is Ankimobile (the one for $24.99). I also use it.

However if you just want to try for free, you can just go to ankiweb and use web-based version. Web-based version have limited features so it is not as convenient as App version but you can see how it works.(The biggest downside is you can't choose problems by using tab)For windows users and Android users there is a free app (or program).

How to install 3rd roll master is written in "Readme.txt" After you extract the zip file you will find it, or you can download the trial version and its there.

As for graphics, your saying is right but it will be much heavier so that the software might be slow down especially when you work with slow devices like a mobile phone. Anyway, what we want to study is 3rd rolls and not a complicated middle game. It is easy to visualize the position even with ASCII font as it is only two moves away from the opening position. After working 5 minutes you will get used to it. This is a kind of problem you worry too much before you start but forget after get used to...
