In Response To: Giants list criteria--list the cheaters please (ed olaughlin)

Suspicion of cheating is a crazy loose standard. A few weeks ago there was a long thread that accused someone of cheating because of his behavior on Backgammon Ace. If anyone remembers that teacup tempest, he may recall that I was strongly against making such accusations without knowing all the facts. One thing I wish I'd made clear is that, while I disagreed completely with the conclusion my opponent in said argument arrived at, I respect that he stated his proof and reasons very clearly so that anyone can draw his own conclusions individually instead of following the mob. If one is to start a whisper campaign about someone's cheating they should provide all the data they used to come to that conclusion. Ideally, the accused should also be allowed to defend himself as well, should he choose.
