These are good ideas, Bill. But is this really worth all this trouble in our now very interconnected world? We have BMAB based on PR, we have many tourney results, we have USBGF ratings, UKBGF ratings, DBGF ratings and other fed. ratings all based on performance and not PR.

I must thank all those who've worked so hard on Giants of the past decades, but I still strongly feel that the time and usefulness of any worldwide vote like this has run its course and in today's climate causes far more bad will than it is worth.

It is time to wave a final goodbye to the Giants Ship as it sails out of the harbor never to return.
