Handicap options (when teaching kids)

I am starting to teach my 12, 9 and 8 year old nephews and nieces to play.

Until they come up to speed, I would like to give them a suitable handicap when we play. I can think of the following:

1. Kid controls the cube from the start.

2. Kid automatically starts the game with a 31 and makes the 5 point.

3. Kid automatically opens with a 66 and makes both bar points.

Any other suggestions?
