In your position I make the 11 and the 4 with massive duplication of 4s and 62. In Timothy's position I'd hit, 3s are duplicated (hitting and entering), and we may make 4 out of 6 blocking points against the checker on the 23.

I assume that making the 9 becomes relatively better than hitting on the 5 in your position compared to Timothy's position, because hitting on the 5 creates good 4s from the bar.
