This is one of those positions where all white's plays are practically forced, while blue has choices. For obvious reasons, the higher we go with XG's settings, the better it will be for blue's equity. I dropped it down a little bit and did 1296 1-ply rollouts. At that setting, white has a drop, but only by .058 . What if white and blue are both players who generally play at about 6PR? My best guess is that a 6PR player will generally get outplayed by XG 1-ply. In that case. white might reasonably take this, even knowing all the info XG has given. Dropping it down a notch further, let us say that the two players are evenly matched Intermediate players. I think in this case, white clearly loses equity by dropping.
