In Response To: Cube Decision ATS? (Neil Robins)

I am sorry you find my simple approach to backgammon abrasive and irritating but you could be wise to stop for a moment and reflect that I may be right. You are not giving XG enough legs for it to do the job. The correct play is double/drop. That was my play before I analysed. Amusingly in play XG decided nd/take as per your analysis but whilst analysing I got this message, " this cube action has been analysed and is considered an error. Click on one of the level button at the bottom of the panel to analyse more precisely" The correct play without a doubt is double/drop.

Reflecting back to your "anchor or board" once again a decent rollout produces no high anchor. Both your posts I class as easy. Indeed they are when you have a good understanding of timing. The shame is most responders to your post were more interested in gammons and the cube than winning the game and staying in the match. Do yourself a favour get your head around timing , learn roll odds and aquire the ability to value game winning chances. Once you have mastered that get stuck into all them technical bits that that are beyond lesser mortals like me lol.
