Just Wondering

In analyzing and reviewing my matches, it seems, almost without exception, I play better (at least according to Snowie) against better opponents.

Now, is this because of better focus and concentration because I know I have to play excellently to have a chance to win against the top players?

Or, is this because the less experienced and less accomplished player often extends games needlessly and plays much more loosely than the very good players leaving many more playing opportunities and playing options for me and, thus, many more occasions to make mistakes myself?

I think it some combination of the two. I'm curious of the thoughts and experiences of others.
