I still recommend using GNU "View Statistics" to find out (for example) how often Blue gets hit after both plays.

Unfortunately, "View Statistics" is available only for cube decisions, so I think the best way to do this is to change the score to 2a2a with a centered cube, and to roll out White's cube decision after each of Blue's two plays. You should see a "View Statistics" button in the rollout window that you can click to see hitting statistics.

As for containment, XG 3-ply won't be as hopeless in this position as with some more extreme positions, but it will still do some weird things. Still, the pay-now play is surely a strong contender, whether or not it's "best."
