I understand it's important to shake your dice...

Say player A wishes to use a baffle box and is convinced it produces random rolls and produces less cocked dice, and player B is unfamiliar with a baffle box and is not convinced it produces random rolls. Player B however, is convinced shaking in a cup produces random rolls.

Then a perfectly fine compromise would be to shake in a cop and throw through a baffle box. Insurance against imperfect randomizing, perceived or actual, as I mentioned.
