In Response To: Is White's checker half escaped or half trapped? (Timothy Chow)

I played 24/23 13/8 with the idea that if White's rear checker can't escape then she may be forced to expose a blot, which I'd get more shots at if I split. But apparently Blue gains more by building with 6/5.
