BMAB RULE CHANGE: GRANDMASTERS & STREAMED MATCHES
After discussion on the BMAB Executive Board and consultation with Grandmasters the flowing additional rule has been agreed:
Where Grandmasters are streamed, the PR results from such matches should be included in their individual records, wherever practicable. Grandmaster must agree to be streamed if requested to do so by event and tournament organisers, and must use a game clock. There may be extreme extenuating circumstance where a relaxation may be made on a case-by-case basis provided that the notification and basis for the appeal are made before the tournament commences and adequate time is allowed for the decision of the board.
Note that speedgammon and/or matches shorter than seven points are only included in streamed match submissions if the applicant pre- notifies BMAB or its representatives.
This rule change takes effect immediately.
