WUT?!!

Your hypothesis is very interesting..

But, whilst within the bounds of the rules, our Guru would have no need or intention to resort to such chicanery... would he???

It seems to be quite a risk of five large when this 'plan' all hinges being able to come back from a position at ~25% underdog against XG with the cube on 16.

But then again, the rewards could be quite substantial. I can't quite grasp the wording. Given the ruleset, how much $$$ would the King of Backgammon stand to gain (given an example PR of 50 or 100, but still winning)?

Has anybody else tried this ruse? And what results did they get?

---------------------------

Even if the above format is discarded due to fear of disingenuity, there is still the 'straight' bet of $5,000 to beat the bot which I would hope is still palatable.

Our Guru has also thrown the gauntlet down to all humans, chickenz and hairless chimpanzees which nobody seems to be stepping up to..

I think these two would still be very interesting contests. Although they might put many years of entertaining discussion and banter to bed. For a while.
