thefreedictionary.com gives secondary meanings of "academic" as: Having little practical use or value, as by being overly detailed, unengaging, or theoretical. Having no important consequence or relevancy.

Now we are getting closer to Murat's not so scholarly statement that PR is just "concocted, fanciful, arbitrary, elaborate bullshit".

Different color, same smell..?

I don't know what you mean by "standard bg" but you make it sound so easy to manipulate PR that you would perhaps agree with Murat if he had used alternative words like "useless" or "meaningless" instead of "bullshit"..?
