I can't speak for anyone else here, but put me down for a resounding "no". By using PR as a measure of my backgammon play and as a way to point out my errors, I have improved my game immeasurably in the last few years. Well, not immeasurably actually. Quite measurably. Using PR. If you are referring to it in the way I think Tim Chow was suggesting you are, then maybe that's the issue, but I can't really speak to that as I don't understand what he was getting at and I don't really care. When you come on these boards I have never gotten the impression you are looking for some deeper truth, but more like the sophists of ancient Greece, you're just trying to win your argument. Fortunately that attitude is not common here.
