Nice app Phil! Runs fine on my Samsung Galaxy S5
Just to give some feedback..
1. Is it just me? I am used to 'reading' dice in a way that states the largest dice first (i.e. "6-3" and not "3-6")
Can the app perhaps be modified so that there are added options in Settings to display the die with the larger of the two values on the left (in landscape mode), and on top (in portrait mode)?
2. It might be useful to be able to export saved games as a text file and perhaps even trigger sending them as an email attachment. Could be useful as a transcription aid / shortcut?
3. Regarding sounds, I know the help text says "only works if touch sounds are generally enabled".
So, I didn't get any sound feedback on my Android device until I enabled 'Touch Sounds' in Settings -> Sounds and Notifications -> Other Sounds.
Would it be better if something like a wav file could be triggered within the application itself to represent the 'rolling' animation?
I prefer not to have the audible 'blips' throughout the O.S. for every time I touch the screen. And it's not convenient to have to go into settings to toggle 'Touch sounds' on and off every time I would like to use your dice app.
4. Maybe offer a choice of PRNGs?
Aside from these minor issues I think it's a great app!
The future version which verbally announces the rolls would be very welcome. As well as the benefits you already mentioned, audible confirmation would also help reduce the (low, but disappointing) number of times my brain has momentarily misread the dice, i.e. hallucinating a match-saving joker 6-6 instead of the actual 6-4! ;-)
