Backgammon Dice are NEVER precision dice

hang on if we're going to start nit picking that precision dice are 'only' 99.9999999999....% accurate - wouldn't it be fair to say that anything electronic that's generating 'randomness' via an algorithm/seed isn't truly random either....?"
Good point. I am not sure if any electronic program will ever be 100 percent accurate and I would never make that claim. And I am not saying that the precision dice we are using should not be used. All I am saying is that the dice we are using are not precision, are not completely accurate, and since there are no real standards for the tolerances, some may be very inaccurate. And I am saying that if electronic dice are not random, we will have a record of the rolls to determine just how inaccurate it is.
In the short run any electronic and real dice will be skewed, but in the long run, time will prove, I believe, that electronic dice will actually turn out to be more fair than the rounded, physical dice we are using.
Again, all this talk about the dice being fair is simply to try to put to rest some people's skepticism about electronic dice compared to what they are used to.
