Tournament Prize Money Conundrum

In Response To: Tournament Prize Money Conundrum (Rick Janowski)

In absence of information that would suggest 1000-2000 is much more likely (at least twice as likely) than 2000-4000, I'd switch. Simply because then my expected payoff from the switch would be higher than 2000.
