Tournament Prize Money Conundrum

Others have explained why this problem is not mathematically well-formed - as a uniform distribution on 0 to infinity does not make much sense.

I'd just switch if the amount is lower than what I'd like to get and keep if it is higher. I'd be 50% to do the smart thing if my threshold is below or above both envelopes' amounts, and 100% to gain if it is between the amounts. Thus I expect to do a little better than just always keeping, or always switching.
