California Open question

First things first: Thank you Michael and Stick. Great to see the site back up!

I watched the match between Jon Vietor and Steve Sax and after Steve won 11-10, I was expecting a second match since Jon had come from the undefeated bracket. Did I inadvertently miss a previous match or was there a different format involved?
