Middle game 53

I'm only seeing two "obvious" plays, which makes me think that the bot move is something non-obvious.

8/3* 6/3 makes a third point and sends a checker to the roof. 6/3* 6/1 does the same thing, but the ace point isn't as valuable as the three point, OTOH unstacking the bloated six point may outweigh that, so I'll go with that play.

Is Pottling the third? Clearing the nine? I can't seem to find my QF hat at the moment so I'm coming up short.
