I tried to include all the plays that were mentioned. Nobody got it correct and luckily for me it wasn't my decision. I was playing XG at the time and saw it make the play and stopped dead in my tracks to have a look. This problem could have been included on the Othello quiz. The score is making an impact and a cube is imminent.
As for my definition of *random*, when I put it in the Subject line of a post as I sometimes do it basically means a position that I couldn't easily classify. In other words, this isn't a blitz 53 or a holding game 53 or a Pottle problem or a make the 5pt problem, it's not easily put into a category. Maybe checker play AtS thinking about it now? Still...there's not a lot to be learned from this that will be applicable in the future of your game. I thought it was a weird play and shared it is all.
