Fastest/best pipcounting method?

Well, I am not your or Mochy caliber of a player, but I also always keep a running pip count difference.
I'll even keep it in let's say a backgame where it's quite clear I am behind by a lot, but having the exact number helps me judge my timing much better. Basically I always keep it except when there is no more contact and it's obvious who's winning.
If I am too tired I may lose the count sometimes during the match, but no problem, I just do my count and continue doing it.
If I have enough time I also recount just in case when I'm faced with the cube decision.
I am known for being a time trouble addict so being able to always know the pip count difference is very important to me. :)
My preferred pip counting method is Urquhart Colorless Counting.
