First, I would make some adjustments to the pip count. I use the iSight method which gives the count as 68 vs 73.

Second, I estimate that initial doubles when there is a way to go are around 75% - which around 10% racing lead which we don't quite have. No Double.

Move the checker from 17 to 16 and it is a double.
