USBGF Reaches 1,000 Members !!!

The USBGF has just enrolled our 1,000th current member !! This number has been a goal of mine, and of the organization, for some time. Congratulations to all of those responsible.

Our newest member, #1,000, is Charles Ziegler, a high school physics teacher in Houston. Eight members of his physic classes are members of a backgammon club Charles has started -- they have also been enrolled as youth members of the USBGF.

I plan to soon personally visit the club and meet the students. We plan an article in our PrimeTime Backgammon magazine on Charles and his students. Such grass roots development of new players and new members is the future of the game.
