"Half anchor" : I LOVE that term, never heard that before! It now ranks with 'front loading' and 'proto-back game' amongst my favourite bg terms. And it kind of sits with my belief that, if we have their ace point and any men on the bar, we have 1-0 back game.

As perhaps the originator of this term, can you tell me if a half anchor can (at least hypothetically) be split?
