Chouette in Sacramento, CA

I am interested in starting a chouette in the East Sacramento area (possibly Downtown/Midtown Area).

Dates: Friday or Sunday nights (maybe once or twice a month).

Time: 6 to 7 PM start. Play as long as there is an interest.

Venue: TBD. There are plenty of restaurants/bars to select from.

Stakes: Somewhere between $3 to $5 per point. However, if someone wants to play higher, it could be arranged by mutual agreement.

Background Info: I was one of the players involved in the chouette game that ended about 10 years ago because the organizer, Doug, got sick (I'd heard he may have passed away.) Currently there is a Meetup group (Sacramento Backgammon) that meets once a month but it is just casual with no gambling involved.
