The photo on the right shows the line at the registration desk the last time I was involved in a Washington, DC area ABT event, in February of 2015.
The photo on the left shows the line at the registration desk when Ed tried to run a Washington, DC area ABT event without me, in May of 2016.
Therefore, since I am on staff in the upcoming Cherry Blossom, we are expecting the line to resemble that of the photo on the right. You are thus encouraged to pre-register if at all possible- having your name in a row in the spreadsheet ahead of time should greatly enhance the processing.
And yes, this post could quite possibly be symptomatic of egomania, but I think charges of megalomania may be slightly overdone.
