As usual, you are setting up a straw man argument. Nobody but you is claiming that the bots are the heroes of backgammon. What they are, as can be seen from the vast preponderance of evidence from virtually all the greatest players that use them, are a very useful tool to improve your game. If you have a superior method that can be shown to be applicable to real world tournament situations, either use it yourself and become a world champion or market it and make some money revolutionizing backgammon theory. Until then, you're just like the titmouse squeaking in the thunderstorm while the zebras dance.
