A couple of tourneys were seeded, from what I was told, a couple years prior to when I began 40 years ago. There was such a furor that this stopped quickly.

I agree with all the complaints.

1) Why shouldn't everyone who pays the same EF be treated the same?

2) Especially back then, how could anyone be sure who the best player(s) were?

I am extremely opposed to seeding when paying an EF. I am also extremely opposed to different EF's for the same event for different caliber of players.

When would seeding be OK to me? Well only in an event where the sponsor(s) are paying everyone's EF. Then thing can be seeded to make it more likely to have supergiants in the final couple of rounds.

Just me experiences and thoughts .. neilkaz ..
