I have trouble importing the match you posted. So, if I understand correctly, the emg equity in that game goes from 0 to 2.819 (gammon value 0.910 at 2a:2a). Net luck minus net equity loss is 2.68 according to your analysis. That's certainly close enough for me. The observation that luck analysis works even better for DMP might be random. If it's not I could offer the speculative explanation that XG may be more accurate at estimating equities in DMPs than in too-good-to-double situations.
