You are right but my perception is that this possible change can have a big impact and is not worth to take the risk to use it at large scale but let's try it, maybe you can find a TD brave enough. Anyway I have said I will reduce, but some players will stay home as it happens now because of the clock.

"There are tournaments where baffle boxes are mandatory if requested and available". This is new to me, I thought is optional. What I said about cheating is still valid against using the baffle box however it provides some benefits but I think not for this should be mandatory. I tried it and I don't like, is great for speed gammon but in normal tournaments if possible I don't want to use it. We will see what happens if one player insists to use it and the other not, till now was possible each player to use what he likes but I am not sure every TD will agree.
