Holding Game 22

My first observation it that white is going to have a lot of wastage in the bearoff, due to a poor distribution of checkers in her home board. That reduces whites lead by perhaps 5 to 10 pips.

Blue's 5 prime is a deterrent to loose hits by white, as is white's inner board blot. These things could change, of course over the next exchange or two.

Blue holds the cube, so cannot be doubled out. I am not sure that blue needs to hold the 20 pt any longer as white has a weak board, and blue has a stronger board.

I will play 20/18 13/7. This play increases contact and has the added benefit of saving 6s, possibly provided us with a chance to hit a lone straggler as white is forced to clear her 13 pt.

Am I looking at a trip to BK with this move?
