In my understanding, autoroll may be used with "legal moves" rule. However, there WILL be bad actors and auto roll WILL give them extra equity. IF "legal move" rule is not used, I don't see how to make autoroll work. On one hand, you have to let second player point out that illegal play was made and that it should be corrected, but on the other hand, letting the second player see what his rold going to be before deciding on weather to have illegal play corrected sound like nonsense to me.
