I like the idea of moving the runner up to the 22 point where it can see daylight, but I'm not seeing a good three. 6/3 only leaves 11 shots on my side of the board, but with two homeboard blots it's an invitation to hit loose.

The tempo play, 6/2*, is worth a look but with twelve in the zone I'm not too keen on offering up 20 shots that put a second checker back.

I don't want to abandon the midpoint and leave a juicy outfield shot.

The chicken play? i.e. 9/6 9/8? Don't really like it either.

So, since I have no idea what to do, I'll make the five point. Yes, it leaves a double direct shot but at least I'll have a fighting chance in a blot hitting contest.
