There's a problem like this in Mike Corbett's book. He refers to the 7-away point as the Cinderella point. It's quite safe so we should just bear in the three problematic checkers.

By the way, I feel cheated. Where's the bear? I was promised that there would be a bear. I see no bear in this problem.
