I'm afraid I don't find that reassuring. For one thing, why do casinos only use transparent dice?
I accept that it may well be true - in fact, I guess it probably is - that every opaque die I've ever seen at bg venues were normal dice. I certainly hope so. But loaded dice have to be easier to detect if the dice are clear, and this also means that the extent to which they can be loaded is reduced. There are even dice where a column of mercury can be moved within the die. They are, of course, opaque.
