I can do 1A for "What's your game plan" (which is my favorite book BTW)

When you find yourself in a situation where your position is deteriorating and the opponent's position is improving, it's usually time to take decisive action. This often means hitting loose or other dangerous maneuvers. Probably obvious to many, but it was a real eye-opener for the intermediate me that got the book.

This theme is actually repeated in several problems throughout the book. I remember two banana split positions, and a double loose hit in the home board in a chapter with lovely title "it's bad to boil frogs" :P
